Article Icon 1Lawmakers Debate Data Centers

State legislators last week introduced a bill that would incentivize data center development, aligning Colorado with dozens of other states competing for the favor of the fast-growing industry.

The bill would offer qualified data centers 100% sales and use tax rebates for 20 years. Proponents cite the industry's economic and grid-investment benefits and say this ensures Colorado—one of 14 states without data center tax breaks—doesn't "fall behind."

Critics argue the energy-intensive facilities harm the environment and raise residential electricity costs. Sponsors of the bill, including moderate Democrats and industry groups, say it includes requirements to address both concerns.

A competing bill, still being drafted, would not offer incentives and instead impose stricter guardrails on development to align the sector with Colorado's clean energy goals.

Article Icon 111th Wolf Dies, Releases Paused

Another one of Colorado's translocated gray wolves has died, bringing the total number that have died since reintroduction began to 11 out of 25.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) says the female Canadian wolf, one of 15 released last January, died in northwest Colorado. A necropsy will determine the cause of death.

The new death drops the survival rate to 56%, well below the 70% early-survival benchmark that would trigger a review under CPW's reintroduction plan. Seven of the wolves released in 2025, plus four brought here in 2023, have died.

CPW had planned to release a third round of wolves this month. The agency confirmed Wednesday that no new releases are planned for this season, though it's "exploring options" for new wolves in the winter of 2026-27.

Article Icon 1Arctic Cold Front to Drop Temps

Much of Colorado lies in the path of an arctic cold front expected to arrive late this evening, pushing highs below freezing and nightly lows near or below zero.

Friday and Saturday's highs will mostly range from the mid-teens to low-20s, with wind chill dipping into the negative teens on the Eastern Plains and single digits on the Front Range. Here's a chart by location.

Snow is forecast across the state this weekend. Denver has a chance to see light dustings, while parts of the high country could see a foot or more by Sunday.

Denver will be frigid for Sunday's AFC Championship Game, with temperatures near freezing at the 1 p.m. kickoff. Highs will climb back to the upper 40s by Monday.

This Painful Thing Still Happens 10 Million Times a Year?

5 million people have their wisdom teeth painfully yanked every year.

These surgeries cost ~$5 billion combined, take months to fully heal, and often carry painful complications. So imagine how valuable a company that invented a painless, 90-second alternative would be.

That's TriAgenics' story. Their proactive approach stops wisdom teeth from ever forming in children aged 6-12. It's designed to be non-invasive, allowing children to eat, play, or return to school immediately afterwards.

Parents say goodbye to missed responsibilities and prolonged recoveries. Dentists say hello to revenue previously lost to outsourced extractions. And early-stage investors can share in the growth at a critical stage, before FDA clearance.

By 2030, TriAgenics aims to make this treatment the new standard of care. Get up to 10% bonus stock as a TriAgenics investor before Feb. 3.

Who Loves This More Than Parents? Investors

An alternative to wisdom tooth removal is a parent's dream come true.

No more chubby cheeks, missed school, missed work, or risk of complications.

With the market for wisdom tooth extraction worth $5 billion, investors are even more excited about the company that's making this dream a reality.

Meet TriAgenics. Their proprietary tech uses targeted heat to prevent wisdom teeth from ever forming. TriAgenics' new treatment is designed to eliminate all the pain and recovery associated with wisdom teeth removal.

This is not just a win for parents, either. Dentists unlock revenue they previously had to outsource to oral surgeons.

Next up? FDA clearance. From there, TriAgenics aims to make its treatment the standard of care by 2030. Get up to 10% bonus stock as a TriAgenics investor before Feb. 3.
