Most People Miss This

We want to be very straightforward with The Flyover readers.

In the final days of an investment round, almost everyone is paying attention—but very few people are still able to act.

Just days ago, we announced there are 10 days left to invest in The Flyover. Today, that window is even smaller.

With roughly 15% of shares remaining, we are now in the final allocation phase of this round.

This is the part most people miss.

Not because they don't believe in the company.
Not because they don't support the mission.
But because they assume there will be more time.

There won't be.

Once the remaining shares are allocated, this round closes—regardless of the calendar.
No extensions.
No reopening.
No second chance.

What makes this moment different isn't persuasion—it's availability.

The Flyover is already what most media startups never become:

  • Profitable
  • Growing rapidly
  • Trusted by millions of readers and viewers
  • Built without corporate sponsorship or political donors

That part isn't theoretical. It's already true.

What is still optional—for a very short time—is whether you are an owner as the next phase of growth happens.

We are actively expanding:

  • Into more states
  • Into deeper audio and video
  • Into products like texting and The Flyover app
  • Into a larger, more durable media company built for the long term

Those plans are being funded right now.

The only remaining question is who is still able to participate before this round closes.

If you've been waiting for a clearer signal—this is it.

Once they're gone, there are no more shares in this offering.

Arctic air from a massive, slow-moving storm swept into the state Thursday, triggering a slew of cold weather advisories as temperatures plunged well below freezing.

The Eastern Plains bore the brunt of the extreme cold, with wind chills in Limon as low as minus 20 degrees. Denver International Airport saw more than 600 delays and dozens of cancellations Friday amid the frigid conditions.

Snow fell on and off through the weekend, lightly dusting Denver, dropping 1 to 3 inches elsewhere along the Front Range, and dumping more than a foot in some of the western mountains.

This morning will start off just as cold, if not colder, before highs climb above freezing this afternoon and return to the 40s and 50s for the rest of the week.

Article Icon 1Democrats Introduce Affordable Housing Bills

Gov. Jared Polis and legislative Democrats last week introduced a trio of bills aimed at boosting affordable housing construction, the latest in a yearslong campaign to spur development. Here's a rundown of the bills.

HB 1001 would make it easier for certain organizations, like nonprofits, to build housing on land they own. HB 1065 would create a new tax credit for affordable housing near transit hubs, while HB 1066 would expand a tax credit given to nonprofit developers.

The push for housing reform has put Polis at odds with home-rule cities that argue the measures usurp local control. Some laws from a 2024 bundle of bills remain under litigation.

Colorado is now ranked the third most expensive state to live in. The state's demography office estimates a housing shortfall of more than 100,000 units.

Article Icon 1CBI Confirms Hunter S. Thompson's Suicide

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has affirmed the original finding, made in 2005, that famed journalist and author Hunter S. Thompson died by suicide.

CBI launched the review at the request of Thompson's widow, Anita, more than 20 years after Thompson died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his home near Aspen. She'd reportedly heard rumors that the suicide had been staged.

The review didn't uncover any new physical evidence, facts, or circumstances, the bureau said. Interviews conducted by CBI confirmed Thompson suffered from depression and chronic pain.

Anita said she's "thankful" for the review and that it closes a final chapter for her. "This allows all of us who loved Hunter to move forward," she said.
