Daniel Suárez surged to victory in the weather-shortened Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway Sunday night. The Spire Motorsports driver led just 17 laps but capitalized on strategic pitting during a caution to secure his third career win.

Denny Hamlin finished second, Christopher Bell third, Tyler Reddick fourth, and defending Cup champ Kyle Larson rounded out the top five.

The race served as a heartfelt tribute to two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch, who passed away earlier in the week. Busch’s family, including wife Samantha and son Brexton, joined drivers and officials for a moving pre-race ceremony at the track.

Austin Hill substituted for Busch, driving the No. 33 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing. The team retired the No. 8 Chevrolet in Busch’s honor, and will hold it for his 11-year-old son Brexton.

Katherine Legge completed her historic Double attempt, finishing 31st in the NASCAR race after crashing early at the Indianapolis 500.

Researchers from North Carolina State University and East Carolina University have launched More PEAS Please!, an innovative program that integrates food and gardening into preschool science lessons.

PEAS, or Preschool Education in Applied Sciences, helps young children explore concepts like plant growth, changes in food, and scientific thinking through hands-on activities with fruits and vegetables.

In a yearlong study at North Carolina Head Start centers, preschoolers in the program showed significantly greater gains in science knowledge and vocabulary compared to those receiving standard lessons.

The initiative not only builds early academic skills but also fosters positive, pressure-free experiences with healthy foods. By encouraging curiosity over consumption, it aims to spark lifelong interest in science and nutrition.

The $10 Billion Tungsten Boom

The global tungsten market is surging toward $10 billion by 2030 for one simple reason: modern industry has no substitute for it. From the precision drills that build our cities to the high-heat engines that power our flight, tungsten is the indispensable "backbone" of global manufacturing.

They’re already in supply talks with the U.S. Government. This is your opportunity to invest in United States Tungsten as they bring this critical resource back online.
