"You don't understand, he had this aura of professionalism you just didn't see in MMA broadcasts," Richards said, seemingly staring past his audience as he did so. "The kind of guy you could count on to deliver play-by-play like this was a real sport and not got dragged down into any crass conversation, casual misogyny or general obsequious acquiescence to the toxic elements in MMA both up and down the power structure."
