Last night, the UFC returned to PPV action with a stacked card. The Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi hosted UFC 267. Headlining the event was a light heavyweight bout between Jan Błachowicz and Glover Teixeira.

On top of that, the co-main event saw Petr Yan go head to head with Cory Sandhagen for the interim bantamweight title. UFC 267 also saw the return of the highly-rated Khamzat Chimaev.

In what was an epic night, Glover Teixeira was crowned the new champion of the light heavyweight division.

From the get-go, Glover was quick to assert his dominance. The Brazilian managed to successfully take the fight to the floor, which caught Jan off guard. Jan looked like a deer in headlights as he struggled to compete with Teixiera's vicious ground game.

However, Jan managed to make it through to the second round. Unfortunately, it just got worse. In the striking exchanges, Glover was sharp and caught Jan with a left hook. Soon after, Teixeira got the fight to the floor again and was able to tap out Błachowicz.

After being crowned the new king of the light heavyweight's, what's next for Glover Teixeira?

Prior to UFC 267, Jiří Procházka weighed in as a backup fighter for the main event. Jiří has only fought twice in the UFC but has produced two highlight-reel knockouts and is arguably next in line for a title shot.

During the post-fight interview, Glover expressed his desire to face the knockout artist. With that being said, they're expected to face each other next year as Teixeira has earned himself a well-earned rest.
