It is always a pleasure to see huge organizations doing their part in the heavy lifting that requires to feed the less fortunate or families in need. The Los Angeles Clippers organization collaborated with the Los Angeles County Regional food bank and The Forum in Inglewood, California to make this charitable event come into fruition. I caught up with the CEO of the food bank Michael Flood, check out what he had to say regarding his thoughts on the collaboration with the Los Angeles Clippers Organization.

When it comes to putting together charitable events, there are many hands involved including 20 year season ticket holder Lorie, and she was proud to volunteer simply because she believes in the Clippers organization. Having that type of togetherness when your fans are willing to put man hours to contribute speaks volumes about your organization. We caught up with Los Angeles Clippers' guard Reggie Jackson giving his thoughts on the event.

Reggie Jackson was seen with a huge smile on his face, handing food out to cars, taking selfies with fans, giving fist pumps, and really soaking in the moment. He was joined by teammates Luke Kennard and Terance Mann as they were also seen joyfully handing out food and interacting with fans. We also caught up with Luke Kennard to hear why they chose to volunteer instead of spending their time of leisure doing something that could be viewed as more pleasurable.

The players talked about the feeling they got from giving back and putting smiles on faces that rarely have things to smile about. Terance Mann, a young up and coming star best known for his 39 point performance versus the Utah Jazz in the 2020-21 playoffs explains how it feels to be in Los Angeles giving back.

It was a beautiful day in Inglewood, California at the Forum perfect weather, great people and the organizations that show they care about the people. Shout out to the Forum for hosting the event, and the Los Angeles Clippers organization partnering with the Los Angeles County Regional Food bank for feeding 1,000 families in this time of need. Hope to see more events like this across the nation as we all need to heal and lend a helping hand.
