The Cleveland Guardians host the Chicago White Sox at 1 p.m. today at Progressive Field in Game 1 of the best-of-five American League Division Series—the AL Central rivals' first postseason meeting.

Cleveland erased a 5 1/2-game deficit to win the AL Central by one game, but Chicago took the season series 7-6, with seven of the 13 meetings decided by a single run.

Left-hander Parker Messick is set to start for Cleveland. In four starts against Chicago, he has posted a 2.81 ERA.

The ALDS winner will face the Tampa Bay Rays or New York Yankees. Potential Guardians ALCS tickets are already on sale starting at $142.

About $500,000 comes from Lifting Futures, the foundation's $30 million push to train 10,000 aerospace workers by 2030. Cincinnati and Dayton, home to nearly 19,000 industry jobs, are among five inaugural communities in the program.

Sinclair College will receive about $300,000 to train welders and technicians, with another $130,000 going to the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology in Troy.

Six Flags is surveying passholders about new names for Cedar Point and Kings Island that would fold the corporate brand into Ohio’s two most famous parks.

One option tested with Cedar Point passholders, "Six Flags of North Ohio," would drop the name the Sandusky park has carried since 1870. Kings Island could become "Six Flags Kings Island."

Longtime fans aren't sold. A Cedar Point fan site operator called the survey "tone deaf," citing Geauga Lake, the Aurora park Six Flags renamed Six Flags Ohio in 2000 before it closed in 2007.

A Six Flags spokesperson said the options are "research concepts, not proposed or final names," and that no decisions have been made.

That scam call wasn’t random

Scammers don’t just guess your number. They buy personal information from data brokers, Companies selling your phone number, home address, relatives’ info, and more online.

That’s how a random scam call can turn into phishing, impersonation, identity theft, or someone knowing more about you than they should.

That’s why I recommend Incogni. It removes your personal information from these databases and keeps removing it automatically.
