A World War II-era Vultee BT-13A plane made an emergency landing in Upson County on Friday afternoon after experiencing mechanical trouble.

The aircraft, which was flying from Florida to Wisconsin for a vintage airshow, safely landed on Highway 19 near John B. Gordon Road with no injuries reported.

Deputies moved the aircraft off the roadway before crews used a crane to place it on a trailer for transport to a Taylor County airport for repairs.

Georgia has increased the maximum account balance on its Path2College 529 college savings accounts and dropped the plan's state administrative fee, both now in effect.

The higher limit comes from Senate Bill 556, signed by Gov. Brian Kemp in May, which more than doubles the plan’s ceiling from $235,000 to $550,000.

With the removal of the fee, Path2College is now the United States’ lowest-cost college savings plan, according to state officials.

Recently, Georgia took the No. 4 spot in the U.S. News & World Report’s rankings for the most affordable states for college in the nation, based on in‑state public tuition and fees.

The 1877 tall ship Elissa, a National Historic Landmark, will visit Savannah July 24-26 for its first return to the city since 1894 as part of its Sail250 tour.

The square-rigged iron barque, one of only three still actively sailing worldwide, will be docked at the River Street waterfront.

Free deck tours are available daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with ticketed evening events including Friday and Sunday happy hours and a Saturday Salute to Sunset Party.

The Galveston Historical Foundation rescued the ship in 1978 from a scrapyard in Greece, and the vessel was later restored to sailing condition. Currently, it serves as a floating museum and Texas' official tall ship, drawing more than 40,000 visitors annually.

California Surgeon: “Muscle Loss in Seniors is Real, But It Doesn't Have to Be”

If you think collagen is only for supporting healthier skin, hair, and nails, think again.

Not only does it play a role in holding the teeth in your mouth, keeping your heart walls intact, and reinforcing your gut lining…

It's also what allows you to enjoy your favorite outdoor activities without getting tired.

But unfortunately, eating more collagen isn't the answer.

That’s why Dr. Steven Gundry has created what he calls the “collagen reset technique.”

And to his knowledge, it’s the only technique that’s designed to help your body build its own collagen.

These are early warning signs of "age-related progressive muscle loss" — one of the biggest predictors of frailty and falls among seniors.

There's one protein most people over 40 lose faster than their bodies can replace.

A former chief of surgery uncovered an at-home "reset technique" to help your body replenish this protein on its own.
