Good Morning! On this day in 1969, Neil Armstrong stepped onto the surface of the moon, telling a spellbound audience of 600 million, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." You can watch the moment as America saw it live here. Be honest: how much do you dread the dentist's chair? Surveys say 70% of adults fear the visit, which may explain why scientists keep getting emails from strangers begging to join experiments to regrow their own teeth. That future is closer than you'd think, as Ayla explains in today's podcast. Would you volunteer to regrow a tooth instead of getting an implant? Reply and let us know. Today's sponsor is Automated Retail Technologies, giving investors the opportunity to back a company expanding AI-powered robotic food kiosks across high-traffic locations before its next phase of growth. |

Spain Beats Argentina 1-0 for World Cup Title
Spain's Ferran Torres scored in the 106th minute to lift his country to a 1-0 victory over Argentina and its second World Cup title. The dramatic finish capped a record-setting FIFA World Cup that drew more than 6.6 million fans to 16 stadiums across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Argentina was reduced to 10 men in stoppage time at the end of regulation when Enzo Fernández received his second yellow card. In extra time, Torres took a headed pass from Nico Williams and blasted the ball past Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez. Spain conceded just one goal throughout the tournament, setting a World Cup record for the fewest allowed by a champion. Meanwhile, President Trump joined FIFA President Gianni Infantino in handing out medals and presenting the trophy, becoming the first sitting U.S. president to attend a men's World Cup final on American soil. US Arrests Tate Brothers on UK Warrant
Social media influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested by U.S. Marshals in Miami on Saturday, a stunning turn for the self-proclaimed misogynist brothers who had treated Florida as a safe haven since leaving Romania last year. The arrests came just hours after British prosecutors expanded their case to 59 charges, including rape, sex trafficking, assault, and offenses involving indecent images of a child, spanning seven alleged victims from 2010 to 2017. Andrew Tate faces 42 counts, and Tristan 17. Video of the arrest showed Andrew Tate slipping his phone to a bodyguard as agents cuffed him outside a Miami federal building. The brothers, who hold dual U.S. and British citizenship, insist they are innocent. Their attorney claims the U.K. broke an agreement not to seek extradition while charges in Romania are still pending. |
Two Men Sue Over 1988 Birth Switch
Two men who discovered through DNA tests that they were switched at birth 38 years ago are suing the North Dakota hospital that sent them home with the wrong parents, saying it robbed them of the lives they were meant to lead. Kyle Bylin and Jeremy Morrison were the only babies born on Jan. 26, 1988, at Unity Medical Center in Grafton. The truth surfaced when Bylin took an at-home DNA test he picked randomly at a Christmas gift exchange. Bylin, born Jeremy Morrison, still has the hospital bracelet bearing the wrong name. The hospital says records from that era no longer exist, and there is no evidence that staff were responsible. Both men have met their biological parents, but not each other yet. "You can't go back and replace 35 years," said the mother who raised Bylin. "First steps, driving a car, getting married. How do you make up for that?"
