Apalachee Shooter to Change Plea
Colt Gray, the teenager accused of killing four people at Apalachee High School, will enter a plea and be sentenced at a July 24 hearing in Barrow County. The change comes just days after a judge set jury selection to begin in October, using jurors from Columbia County near Augusta. No details were released on the terms of the plea. Gray, now 16, previously pleaded not guilty to four counts of malice murder and 25 counts of aggravated assault, among other charges. He is accused of opening fire inside the Winder school on Sept. 4, 2024, killing two students and two teachers. Nine others were hospitalized. |
Mullin Explains ICE Center Reversal Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin said a plan to house 500 detainees in a Social Circle warehouse "wasn't a good fit" for the surrounding community. His comment echoed what some residents and local officials said when the department canceled the plan last month. Mullin said keeping the site would have required a lengthy campaign to win community support. The warehouse and another property that DHS bought in Oakwood are among as many as 11 properties nationwide that the department will offer to other federal agencies before selling. Mullin also addressed a rise in deaths in ICE custody, linking the increase partly to a larger detainee population and to detainees arriving with health conditions. He said the death rate is less than 1%. |
Atlanta's Last World Cup Match Set
England will face defending champion Argentina in a World Cup semifinal at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the final match the city will host in the tournament. The FIFA Fan Festival at Centennial Olympic Park is nearly sold out for its final two days. No more free general admission tickets are available. Atlanta rapper Ludacris will perform at the festival on Tuesday. Television ratings for the tournament remain high despite the U.S. team's loss last week, with England's win over Mexico on Saturday drawing an estimated 45 million viewers across Fox Sports, Telemundo, and Peacock. |

The Nvidia of Energy
Nvidia’s valuation surged by 1,092% in just three years when it became the backbone of AI. But AI has a massive energy problem Nvidia can’t fix.
As AI data centers begin consuming more power than entire nations like Sweden or Argentina, Frontieras North America’s patented technology reforms coal into high-value commodities like hydrogen and diesel without burning it. It creates a technical carbon to replace coal that burns as clean as natural gas. Under a White House that favors energy production on our home soil, it could unlock up to $2.1 Trillion in energy potential.
The company fully subscribed its first Reg A+ round by $25M and reopened it due to increasing investor demand.
Here’s why you shouldn’t miss the chance to invest at $9.01/share:
“FASF” ticker reserved on the NASDAQ
Broke ground on new $850M flagship facility in West Virginia
