The Cleveland Browns agreed to trade defensive end Myles Garrett, a two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, to the Los Angeles Rams. Garrett was selected by Cleveland with the first overall pick in 2017 and signed a four-year extension that included a no-trade clause last season.

In return, Cleveland will receive Pro Bowl pass rusher Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick, and a third-rounder in 2029.

Verse, 25, was selected in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft and would remain under team control through at least 2028. The trade is also expected to save Cleveland roughly $30 million, according to ESPN.

Garrett, 30, broke the NFL's all-time single-season sack record during his final year in Cleveland.

The Toledo Zoo received its second hoax bomb threat of the month on Sunday morning. Authorities investigated and cleared the scene, determining the threat was not credible.

Officers responded around 10 a.m. after Ohio State University police received a call threatening the zoo.

Some guests were undeterred by the threat, with one Toledo resident saying, "Don't let that situation keep you from enjoying what we have here in Toledo. Our zoo is amazing.”

The May 1 threat—in which a caller reported a bomb and possible gunfire—was part of a wave of coordinated hoax calls targeting zoos across the country that same weekend.
