Hundreds of people attended a Turning Point USA event at The Ohio State University on Tuesday, where Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy was a featured speaker. You can watch the event here.

Ramaswamy cited lower electric bills, more job opportunities, and lower housing costs as top goals for 2027 if he’s elected governor in November.

Addressing the debate over data center development, Ramaswamy said there’s a middle ground that would allow both technology companies and farmers to succeed. He also emphasized the need to advance artificial intelligence in ways that create new jobs rather than displace workers.

Yesterday, FOX & Friends broadcast live from Tee Jaye’s Country Place in Columbus, where FOX’s Lawrence Jones was expected to interact with patrons and interview Ramaswamy.

While Cincinnati and Columbus are now considered modest buyers’ markets, Cleveland remains one of the few balanced housing markets in the U.S., according to housing data.

According to Fortune, Ohio’s housing market appears to be driven by Gen Z buyers and remote workers leaving the Sun Belt for the Rust Belt, where homes are roughly 30% cheaper than in coastal parts of the U.S.

Cleveland’s median home price of $247,000 is the second-lowest in the U.S., behind only Wichita, Kansas. Cleveland home sales also surged in March, rising 28%. Ohio’s median statewide sale price as of February was $214,833.

The historic Worthington Inn will reopen April 29 with Wolf’s Ridge Brewing after being closed for nearly a decade, offering lunch, dinner, and brunch with limited seating following renovations.

The inn is promoting “approachable tavern fare” and seasonal, chef-driven dishes, including French onion soup, fish and chips, burgers, deviled eggs, and charcuterie plates.

Built in 1831 as a private residence, the Worthington Inn became an inn and restaurant in the 1850s. Over the years, it hosted notable guests, including Harvey Firestone, Gordon Battelle, and college football teams visiting Ohio State.
