Reddick Eyes Fourth Straight NASCAR Win

Tyler Reddick aims for a fourth straight NASCAR Cup Series victory this weekend at Phoenix Raceway after becoming the first driver to open a season with three consecutive wins.

The Straight Talk Wireless 500 takes place Sunday in Avondale, capping off a motorsports weekend that includes the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series GOVX 200 on Saturday.

Sportsbooks list Ryan Blaney and Denny Hamlin as co-favorites, with Kyle Larson, William Byron, and last year's winner Christopher Bell among the top contenders.

A win for Reddick, who drives for the racing team co-owned by NBA legend Michael Jordan, would make him the ninth driver in the NASCAR modern era (1972–present) to win four consecutive Cup Series races.

Another Freight Train Robbed

A string of freight train robberies grabbed attention last year in northern Arizona, and now authorities report a break-in earlier this month near Joseph City that led to the arrest of eight illegal immigrants on Monday.

Officers with the Navajo County Sheriff's Office and Homeland Security said they spotted suspects removing high-value athletic shoes from boxcars on a BNSF freight train and loading the merchandise into a U-Haul truck and trailer.

The suspects fled in multiple vehicles, prompting a pursuit in which spike strips were deployed. Authorities eventually arrested all eight suspects and recovered the stolen merchandise for return to BNSF.

A year ago, a series of freight train robberies led to multiple arrests, with the thieves often targeting shipments of Nike shoes.

El Mirage Man Wins $1M Home

An El Mirage man won a $1 million home after solving a nationwide scavenger hunt launched by Rocket and Redfin in a Super Bowl LX commercial.

The Great American Home Search challenged players to use clues in the Redfin app to identify the $1 million property.

Kiel Murphy was the first to identify the house, located in Denver. He beat out more than 250,000 participants, saying speed and luck were keys to the win.

Murphy and his family now plan to move to Colorado, a state they had considered living in before settling in Arizona.
