Rapper's School Visit Sparks Complaint

A Memphis-area high school is facing a constitutional complaint after rapper Project Pat spoke at an assembly at Haywood High School in Brownsville.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation, a church-state separation organization, alleges he quoted the Bible and spoke about God, calling it a violation of students’ First Amendment rights.

Haywood County Schools said it did not intend to violate anyone’s rights and emphasized it respects students and staff.

Before receiving the complaint, the school district had reportedly posted on Facebook, thanking the artist for sharing his journey to faith and prison ministry.

FedEx Sues Trump Admin Over Tariffs

Tennessee company FedEx filed suit Monday seeking a full refund on tariffs it paid, days after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled President Donald Trump exceeded his authority in imposing the duties.

The Memphis-based shipping giant says it suffered financial harm while importing goods subject to the tariffs and is asking the court to order the return of those payments.

Company leaders had warned the tariffs could cost up to $1 billion in fiscal 2026, calling it a stressful stretch for customers, especially small exporters.

FedEx says it is acting to protect its rights as an importer, joining several major corporations that have filed similar refund claims.

Titans Tease Possible Rebrand

The Tennessee Titans have initiated fresh rebrand speculation by posting an image of three navy stars on a light blue background with the date March 12, 2026, and the caption, “A new chapter begins.”

The tease follows weeks of rumors, including a Fanatics item that briefly appeared to show a new logo.

The stars resemble those in the leaked design but swap in a navy-and-light-blue scheme closer to the current Titans colors, not the old Houston Oilers’ Columbia blue.

Neither version includes the franchise’s longtime flame logo or sword, fueling talk that a significant uniform and branding change could be on deck.
