Titans Add Just Walk Out Tech to Stadium

The Tennessee Titans will be the first NFL team to use Amazon's Just Walk Out technology at concession stands.

The frictionless system will debut at the new Nissan Stadium in 2027, letting fans grab food and drinks and leave without stopping at a register.

The tech relies on a mix of cameras and sensors that track what a shopper takes from shelves, then uses software to create a virtual cart and charge the payment method tied to that fan when they exit. See how it works.

Midweek Storm Could Bring Light Snow

Middle Tennessee is bracing for a temperature roller coaster this week, with a strong cold front arriving Wednesday.

After highs near 60 degrees on Tuesday, temperatures will tumble, and forecasters say snow flurries or light accumulation are possible Wednesday night into Thursday, mainly east of Nashville. The Cumberland Plateau could see up to an inch.

Regardless of snow, bitter cold will follow, with highs barely above freezing by Thursday.

Feral Hog Eradication Underway at Border

Federal and state agencies launched their annual effort this week to reduce the invasive feral hog population at Land Between the Lakes on the Tennessee-Kentucky border.

The USDA Forest Service, APHIS, and state wildlife agencies are using bait traps and aerial infrared technology to capture and euthanize the animals.

Feral hogs pose a serious threat to native wildlife, ecosystems, and even visitors.

Last year, over 1,400 hogs were removed. Operations and increased vehicle and aircraft activity will continue throughout the winter.
