FINAL HOURS! The Flyover Investment Round Closes Tomorrow

A few months ago, we set out on a mission: to offer ownership opportunities to our readers—now more than 4 million strong. You are one of those readers and we are incredibly grateful. Without you, we wouldn't be the company we are today.

But here's the deal: we only have hours left.

If you've been watching from the sidelines, now is the moment to step in and be one of the final investors in The Flyover. Together, we can finish strong.

Invest in The Flyover today

With only hours left, we want to answer one final question we hear most often from readers and potential investors:

How do I get a return on my investment?

We believe in being direct.

Like all investments, this carries risk. But here's what makes The Flyover different: we have already reached profitability after just two years. That puts The Flyover in a very small group of media startups, many of which never reach profitability at all.

There are three primary ways investors may realize a return:

1️⃣ A Sale
A larger media company or strategic partner could acquire The Flyover. If that day comes, we'd only consider partners who respect our values and our readers.

2️⃣ A Public Listing
While we're private today, a future public listing would give investors the ability to buy and sell shares on an open market.

3️⃣ Profit Distributions (Dividends)
Because The Flyover is already profitable, unlike most startups, distributions are a real possibility as the business continues to grow.

To recap:
1. Sale. 2. Listing. 3. Distributions.

Now, the most important part.

This investment round closes tomorrow. Not days. Hours.

Once it closes, it's closed.

If you've been considering investing; if you've been watching from the sidelines, this is your final opportunity to join us as an owner of The Flyover.

Final hours. Final spots. This is it.

Article Icon 1Former Senator Convicted of Felonies

A Denver jury has found former state Sen. Sonya Jaquez Lewis, a Democrat, guilty of one count of attempting to influence a public servant and three counts of forgery, all felonies.

In early 2025, the Colorado Senate Ethics Committee began investigating Jaquez Lewis' alleged mistreatment of legislative aides following a complaint filed in January 2024. In response, she submitted letters of support, purportedly from past staffers, to the panel. When one letter was found to be fabricated, the senator resigned.

During the three-day trial, Jaquez Lewis admitted to writing multiple letters of support but denied they were fabrications, saying the letters conveyed information previously relayed to her.

Sentencing is set for Feb. 27. Though the charges carry maximum prison terms of up to six years for the most serious count and three years for each forgery charge, prosecutors said they plan to ask for probation.

Article Icon 1Public Gives Input on Xcel Shutoffs

Colorado's Public Utilities Commission (PUC) held a community meeting Wednesday to take feedback from people affected by Xcel Energy's Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS).

During the meeting, residents and city leaders spoke about the impact of this and last month's shutoffs, which cost businesses thousands of dollars and left some customers without power for days.

Many called on Xcel to bury its power lines, an infrastructural investment that, while costly, would reduce or eliminate the need for a PSPS during periods of extreme wind or high wildfire risk.

The PUC plans to take the feedback into account when drafting new rules for utilities, including Xcel, that will go into effect by the end of 2026.

Article Icon 1Rocky Flats Posts Radiation Warning Signs

The Rocky Flats National Wildlife Refuge south of Boulder will now have yellow warning signs cautioning visitors of possible exposure to radioactive materials.

The 5,200-acre open space is the former site of a nuclear weapons parts factory, shut down over plutonium contamination in 1989. Despite years of cleanup and federal reviews showing negligible risk, activists who pushed for the signage argue the area is still unsafe.

The new warnings state "radioactive and hazardous materials remain in the soil and ground water and may be present in airborne dust particles" and encourage visitors to make informed decisions.

The messages conflict with nearby federal signage, still posted, that says the refuge is safe and poses no health risks. The area remains fully open to the public.
