Nearly 30 children have been treated for carbon monoxide poisoning at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital in Nashville during the ongoing winter storm.

Carbon monoxide issues have cropped up as residents turn to generators for power amid ongoing outages. Hospital officials urged the public to use safe heating methods or visit warming shelters instead.
