Dublin Named Ohio's Most Hallmark-Like Town

Dublin was named the Ohio city that most closely resembles a Hallmark Christmas movie, according to a study by Action Network.

Action Network examined more than 3,000 U.S. towns and scored them using four main factors in its Hallmark Likelihood Index: population size, small business density, historic places per 1,000 residents, and December snowfall.

Dublin is known for its walkable downtown and local businesses, and the city offers Christmas attractions such as dining in an igloo at VASO Rooftop Lounge and outdoor ice skating at the Riverside Crossing Park Ice Rink.

Annin Preps U.S. Flags for Winter Games

As more than 200 athletes prepare to represent the U.S. at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy, Annin Flagmakers in Coshocton is stitching thousands of American flags for the event.

Annin Flagmakers is the nation's largest flag manufacturer, and its Coshocton plant produces about 67,000 American flags each week.

January is typically the company's busiest month. The Olympic opening ceremony is Feb. 6.

Founded in 1847, Annin has made the Stars and Stripes for major moments in U.S. history, including the flag draped over President Abraham Lincoln's casket and the flag for the Apollo 11 moon landing.

"We take a lot of pride in what we do here," said Bobbi Parks, Annin's director of operations.
