Good Morning! On this day in 1952, prominent Orlando resident Edna Giles Fuller died at age 78. Fuller was an advocate of women's rights and the first woman in the state to sit in the Florida House of Representatives. She attended Rollins College and later received an honorary degree from the school.

Orlando Named the Place to Be on New Year's Eve

Orlando was named No. 1 in a new study by WalletHub that shares the top spots to celebrate New Year's Eve, ranking 100 of the nation's largest cities across 26 key indicators.

The data examined included everything from the legality of fireworks and the nightlife options per capita to food affordability and the forecasted precipitation for Dec. 31.

Orlando ranks as the second-most fun city in the U.S. overall, and it also has the fourth-most party supply stores and the fifth-most nightlife options per capita, according to the report.

Miami cracked the top 10 cities at No. 10, while Tampa ranked No. 12. Las Vegas, New York, Seattle, and Los Angeles rounded out the top 5 nationwide.
