Where my hand reached back, the object was not there. I had no idea where it was or who had taken it. The moment was perplexing. I was not in the right mind to deal with this loss. My fingers curled into a fist. I wanted to punch something, anything, anyone. No one was around to take a blow. I expected more from this situation. This was a disappointment. I had not thought of the outcome. No way was the liquid or solid clear enough. I did not have the right tools. Finding the object was not an option. I was changing within myself. The arrows pointed south. I wanted to walk the opposite direction. No matter where I turned, the possibility was fuzzy. I dealt with loss before. Nothing had prepared me for this pain.
