Solid bounce back day for me yesterday on the NHL. With my Rangers series bets cashing, I went 12-8, winning 4.96 units, despite the Preds collapse killing me. Tonight we have just two key games. Let's keep winning!

Game 5 - Panthers vs. Lightning (7:00)

The Lightning avoid elimination in the Battle of Florida on Saturday, with a dominant 6-3 win to make it a 3-1 series heading back to Sunrise tonight. The Bolts made a surprising addition to bolster their back end as Mikhail Sergachev returned to the lineup less than three month after breaking his tibia. They got on the board early, with a 3-0 lead in the first and were the better team in yet another very physical game, outhitting the Panthers 61-57 and outshooting them 32-25. I thought this series was over on Saturday and still think Florida's the far better team here. I'll win three units when the Panthers win this series, and I'll double down here with a unit on the Panthers in regulation. I'd lean the over on this game but not enough to bet it.

Game 4 - Golden Knights vs. Stars (9:30)

After winning Games 1 and 2 on the road in Dallas, I thought Vegas had this series locked up and it would be done in 4 or 5 games, so I hedged out of my series bet for it to go over 5.5, switching it so I'll only lose a few dollars if it ends in 4 or 5 but lose 2.5 units if this series goes six games. The Stars were the much better team to staying in this series in Game 3, making it a 2-1 series with a 3-2 overtime win in Vegas on Saturday on Wyatt Johnston's game winner. Logan Thompson was incredible to keep Vegas in that game, making 43 saves. I think I might have hedged too early, although that game could've absolutely gone the Knights' way in which case I would've loved the hedge. I'd lean Vegas wins this one to bounce back at home, but I feel like I have to at least partially hedge here again. I'll take the Stars team total over 2.5 for 1.5 units, and hopefully the result of this game is the Stars score 3 goals and lose. Without that hedge scenario, I'd lean the under here. So if you don't have any series bets, I'd recommend just staying off this game entirely.
