At the age of 64 years and 58 days, Luciano Spalletti is the oldest coach to win Serie A.
It also marks the first Serie A title of his career, with his last success as a coach in Italy having come in 2008, when he led Roma to a second successive Coppa Italia triumph.
The 2022/23 season has so far been one to remember for him as the main architect behind Napoli's outstanding performances in Serie A and the UEFA Champions league.
The 63-year-old Certaldo, Tuscany native, who has turned his side into a ruthless goal-scoring machine this year, wrote history over the weekend, as he became the manager with the largest number of Serie A wins since the introduction of the three-points-for-a-win system
