Start 'Em Or Sit 'Em: Week 17 – Championships

Who do I start, and who do I sit? Ah, yes, the age-old question in fantasy football. Well, you should start your studs and sit those who may lay an egg for your team any given week. The goal in fantasy football is obviously to start the right players. Players who can put up big numbers for a combined point total to beat your league-mates and to try and avoid the inevitable dud performance, which can always be hard to predict.

***DISCLAIMER: When I say "sit em'" for a particular player, that doesn't mean you are actually going to bench them unless I explicitly tell you to do so. Rather, it means to temper expectations as I predict that they are not going to score more points than they are projected to on the PrizePicks app.

QBs

START: Justin Fields and Jared Goff - This game is going to have a wild and likely high-scoring QB matchup. There is no reason to be concerned about either one of these players not putting up 20 or more FPTS. This is exactly the type of game you would want for the fantasy championships.

SIT: Justin Herbert

RBs

START: Dalvin Cook - I mean, obviously, but I am saying that Cook should finish as the RB1 and there is no reason he can't. The Packers are bad against the run statistically and if you watch them play, it is even worse. Cook is cooking up championships for managers.

SIT: Cam Akers - The hype around Akers is actually astounding. A one-game sample of actually good production is not going to win you championships. He also isn't going to score three touchdowns again. He has looked bad all season and at one point wanted out.

WRs

START: DeVonta Smith - Smith was one of Gardner Minshew's favorite targets in his start against the Cowboys. Oh, and by the way, he went absolutely ballistic. Now he is going up against the weakened Saints secondary. Time to feast for week 17.

SIT: Jerry Jeudy

TEs

START: George Kittle - Kittle has been one of Brock Purdy's favorite targets since he became the starter. He has also found the endzone four times in the last two games. He is likely to find himself in the endzone again at LEAST once against an easy Las Vegas matchup.

SIT: Darren Waller
