NEW YORK — The boxing world is excited about the upcoming Jake Paul vs. Hasim Rahman Jr. match, who go head-to-head at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night, August 6.
Jake Paul was originally expected to fight Tommy Fury, the brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, but Tommy Fury was denied entry to the USA and the Jake Paul camp was forced to pivot and look for a new opponent for Paul's next fight.
The opponent they landed on is Hasim Rahman Jr. - you may recognize the name. Hasim Rahman Sr. knocked out Lennox Lewis during Lewis' prime and is a former world heavyweight champion himself.
Hasim Rahman Jr. is also a much more experienced fighter than Paul with 13 professional fights under his belt. Still, Jake Paul vs. Hasim Rahman Jr. odds all favor Paul to win by a fairly wide margin.
