No weapon will be spared at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium this Sunday evening as the Africa Cup of Nations' excitement rises to fiver pitch.

Egypt who started slowly with  a 0-1 loss to Nigeria and have scored just two open field goals in the entire series look set to book a place in the semi-finals if they are able to curtail the attacking forays of Morocco.

The Moroccans too are well known for their ultra defensive strategies, going into the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations with the least number of goals conceded and also among those still in the race, Morocco are third on the most tightly knitted defences.

The same also applied to Egypt who have not conceded any goal in open play since that of Kelechi Iheanacho in their opening match with Nigeria.

For the record seven-time African champions, they will be banking on the talismanic talent of Mohamed Salah.

For Morocco, they will be hoping to advance and see if they can win the Africa Cup for the second time since their only victory in 1976.
