Who would've thought that a Greek kid from Australia would walk into Madison Square Garden and put his balls on the world of boxing. As a Greek-Canadian, I am very proud to have George "Ferocious" Kambosos Jr. represent all Greeks in the world of combat. Kambosos has done what most felt was impossible. Kambosos defeats IBF, WBO and WBA Lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez. Lopez obtained these belts when he himself shocked the world and took out Vasily Lomachenko.

Kambosos Jr. Started off the first round with a huge overhand right that caught Lopez by surprise. The Aussie then went on to assert his dominance. Counter punching, wild exchanges and letting Lopez be aggressive was the game plan and it worked like a charm. Lopez had his flashes of greatness like in the 8th, 9th and 10th rounds but he burnt himself out. Lopez landed some huge shots, knocking Kambosos Jr. down in the 9th but couldn't finish the warrior that Kambosos is.

Kambosos took a lot of damage but at 21-0 he is destined for an eventful 2022. Who's next ? Gervonta David, Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney or a rematch vs Lopez. This is the most exciting division in boxing. The little guys can throw and box better than most big men.

We should all thank Eddie Hearn for always wanting to put on the best fights and not just the one that makes the most money like that old roach Bob Arum. Hearn sits back there in his beautiful suit, awesome hair and being very tall while we watch fantastic matchups. Who's next for Kambosos? Hearn has to figure out how to manage all this. Do we see Haney vs Kambosos first or does Lopez get an immediate rematch. Maybe he should watch the tape again after saying that he thinks he won 10-2.

Whatever happens, this is great for boxing. Not since we had Fury vs Wider 1 or May-Paq have we had this much excitement. The little boys can smack.
