Michael Page and Douglas Lima ran it back earlier today (Fri., Oct. 1, 2021) in the main event of Bellator 267 in London, England. It was a rematch two years in the making after Lima scored a stunning knockout over "Venom" at Bellator 221.

This time around, however, there would be no knockout and no victory for "The Phenom" after the judges awarded Page with a razor-thin split decision victory. Page, as usual, started off quick with his footwork and tried to leap in and out in order to catch Lima with a lightning-quick shot. Being ever-so patient and cautious, Lima evaded pretty much everything save for a laser-like right hand that dropped him early.

In round two, we almost had a case of deja vu after Lima dropped Page with a calf kick and swung for the fences with a huge right hand...the same combination he knocked out "MVP" with in the first fight. This time around, though, Page was quick to evade the strike and avoid catastrophe.

The third round didn't offer a ton of action as both men were very cautious in their attack, though Lima did score a takedown which many felt had secured him the win. Unfortunately for "The Phenom" the judges felt otherwise.

Page has now won six in a row since losing to Lima in 2019 and has put himself in prime position to earn a shot at the Welterweight title, which is currently in the hands of Yaroslav Amosov. As for Lima, the loss is his third in a row.
