As the Dodgers are looking to catch up to the Giants for the first-place spot so they can don't have to play an elimination game. As the Padre try to get a win in this series, the Dodgers will take it 11-9 in a close battle.

Dodgers an Early Rally

As the Padres are looking to get back at the Dodgers from last night, they still trying to from runs early in the first inning but no luck.

While the Dodgers get ready for the postseason trying to push for that first place in the division.  As Mookie Betts gets a deep flyout Corey Seager gets a deep double to have a man on second base.

As Trea Turner Dodgers' newest addition gets a single to left field to bring in Seager making it a 1-0 lead. That does stop with Max Muncy getting a single to right field brought in Turner making it a 2-score lead.

AJ Pollock comes to the plate with a man on base with two outs in the bottom of the first inning hits a home run to make it a 4-0 lead for the Dodgers.

Padres Shape Up

While being down four in the first inning, the Padres are looking to do some damage on the Dodgers. Victor Caratini coming up to the plate gets the Padres on the board to not make this game scoreless.

As the Dodgers get that run back from Betts scoring on Seagers double making it 1-5 in the second inning.

While the Padres come to bat looking to get some life back again to tie this series up, so they don't get swept. Starting the rotation is Adam Frazier singled to right field gets on base for the Padres.

Only being one out having one man on base Manny Machado wants to make this game close so they can at least push an early lead later in the game. Machado gets a home run to center field to make this game 3-5 dodgers still up.

Still down two but that doesn't prevent the Padres from getting another score in from Caratini scoring making it a one-run lead for the Dodgers. Having the base loaded is a good opportunity for the Padres to get a tie in this situation which they do from a fielding error by Corey Seager making it.

Their Perspective

As the Dodgers can't look for a loss in the rest of their games to try to reach the Giants for that first-place spot the Padres are looking for to giving them that loss. While Caratini is up, he gets a single to right field this could make the Padres have the advantage in the sixth inning.

Will Meyers is up getting a triple getting Caratini to score making it a 6-5 Padres lead for the first time in this game. Top of the seventh as the Dodgers didn't do anything in the sixth the Padres are looking to grow their lead.

Machado is up getting a walk doesn't look good for the Dodgers only having two innings left in the game. As the Padre have two men on base both being walks, they can do a lot of damage here which they do having Tommy Pham getting a double to right field bring in Machado making it 7-5.

After that two scores from the Padres Trent Grisham singles to right bring in another two runs making it a 9-5 Padres lead going into the bottom of the seventh inning.

Dodgers Fighting Back

As the Dodgers went down by four runs after starting up with four runs in the first inning, they are looking to get some runs back. Starting with a homerun from Betts to center field to make it a three-run lead for the Padres.

While the Padres are looking good for the moment the Dodgers are ready to strike back hard to get back in this game. After the first home run, Muncy gets one to make it a two-score lead for the Padres.

The Padres are choking this big lead from nine to eight with another home run from Pollock to right field. The runs don't stop there with a Cody Bellinger home run to right field tying the game up at nice a piece.

The runs don't stop there with having Justin Turner on base making it a scary sight for the Padres. Game over from Seager home run to right field making it 11-9 Dodgers win it in the ninth.
