The NBA 2k League hosted its final tournament of the year called the Ticket presented by AT&T from August 19th-21, 2021. Twelve teams fought for two spots for the upcoming 2K League playoffs as well as a championship banner.

Round One

Teams were divided into eastern and western conference brackets with six teams per conference. In round one in the western conference Bucks gaming knocked out Lakers gaming two games to none in their series. In the eastern conference, in round one matchups Heat Check Gaming defeated Raptors Uprising GG two games to one, while Celtics Crossover Gaming defeated Hawks Talon GG to advance.

Round Two

Blazer5 took on Bucks Gaming in round two of the western conference after a first-round bye. Blazer5 took both games in the series to move on in the bracket.  Mavs Gaming then took on Cavs Legion GG and fell two games to one in round two.

In the eastern conference, Gen.G Tigers lost to Heat Check gaming in game one, coming off a first-round bye. They then went on to take the next two games to win the series. Celtics Crossover Gaming took their series two games to none to advance over Magic Gaming.

Round Three

Knicks Gaming entered the east bracket after a double-bye. They would face off against Gen.G Tigers in the East finals.   The Knicks won games one and three to take the series and advance to the tournament finals.

In the West King's Guard Gaming entered as the double-bye seed. They took the first game before falling in the next two, as Blazer5 would move on to the title game.

The Finals

Game one of the finals was just as pressure-filled as a real NBA game at its finest.  A foul with three seconds to go gave the Blazer5 a double bonus free throw. They made the first to tie the game at 92 apiece. The second one followed and was converted on to give them a 93-92 lead. A last-second layup attempt from Knicks gaming came up short and the Blazer5 won in dramatic comeback fashion.

Game Two was all Knicks gaming. They used strong and accurate shooting to take a 16-point lead into the half at 53-37 and never looked back. They took the contest 113-97 to even up the series heading to game three for the title.

Game three had the Blazer5 looking strong with a seven-point lead at 25-18 after one quarter. However, the Knicks caught fire from beyond the arc and took a 53-41 lead into the locker room. It never really got too close as the Knicks finished the series as champions with a 102-92 game three win.

Knicks Gaming point guard Christopher "Duck" Charles was named MVP for a strong finals performance.
