College Football is back, and with it, the opportunity to talk College Football DFS. Not every DFS contest is created the same, but many offer the Super-Flex option. Anytime you are talking about lineups starting multiple quarterbacks, the position takes on a heightened level of importance. Without further adieu, let's dive into the signal-callers that will determine your fantasy football fate.

THE TOP SHELF

Malik Willis : Liberty Flames

Malik Willis broke onto the College Football and DFS scene in a big way last season. An SEC transfer, Willis was a perfect fit for the Hugh Freeze offense. Willis ran for 944 yards and 14 touchdowns in just ten games last season. The likelihood of Malik Willis eclipsing 1,000 yards rushing in 2021 is high. We know how crucial the rushing contribution can be for the fantasy quarterback position, and Malik Willis is arguably the top dual-threat quarterback in all of college football. Given his ceiling as a passer and a rusher, Malik Willis should be the top quarterback you target in your DFS lineup.

Matt Corral : Ole Miss Rebels

Matt Corral's playing style can be a bit erratic, and at times, his game is not for the faint of heart. All of that considered, the sky remains the limit for Matt Corral in the Lane Kiffin-led Ole Miss offense. Matt Corral averaged 330 yards passing AND 50 yards rushing per game in 2020. Those numbers are the type of baseline that provides your DFS lineups the chance to take down a larger tournament.

Spencer Rattler : Oklahoma Sooners

There is not a player in college football who has more potential as a passer than Spencer Rattler. Rattler has been on the prep radar for so long it's easy to forget that 2020 was his first season as a starter. The pressure is on the Heisman Trophy favorite heading into the 2021 season. Four thousand yards passing is not out of the question when projecting Rattler for a twelve-game season. Spencer Rattler is one of the safest fantasy options for your DFS lineups.

THE WILD-CARDS

Emory Jones : Florida Gators

There may not be a more risky play in DFS to start the 2021 college football season than Emory Jones. Emory Jones is still making progress as a passer, but his natural explosive athleticism will make him a dynamic DFS option. Reminiscent of Denard 'Shoelace' Robinson, Jones may produce more on the ground than through the air. If you're feeling lucky, roll the dice on Emory Jones.

Michael Penix Jr. : Cincinnati Bearcats

Michael Penix Jr. had the Cincinnati Bearcats offense rolling on all cylinders through five games last season. Unfortunately, Penix Jr. suffered a torn ACL in November that cost him the remainder of the 2020 season. The good news out of Indiana is that Michael Penix Jr. has rehabbed and is prepared to begin the season on schedule. Whether Penix Jr. can mentally put the injury behind him and get off to a hot start as he did in 2020 remains to be seen.

D'Eriq King : Miami (FL) Hurricanes

D'Eriq King had a successful debut season with the Miami Hurricanes in 2020. The feeling heading into 2021 is the best is yet to come. Don't forget, back in 2018, for the Houston Cougars, D'Eriq King was one of the top DFS options in the game. King totaled close to 3,000 yards passing with 36 touchdown passes. King also ran for 674 yards and 14 additional touchdowns. Carry the one, and yes, King put up FIFTY touchdowns in 2018. Word to the wise, don't forget the upside here.

THE ESTABLISHMENT

Bryce Young : Alabama Crimson Tide

To the surprise of no one, Alabama is once again the most talented team in college football. Just pen that in every summer. From a DFS perspective, this carries its advantages and disadvantages. Surrounded by the best talent, Bryce Young is going to have every opportunity to succeed. The only downside is that Bryce Young may not have to do very much. A solid DFS play, albeit one that lacks the upside of the elite.

D.J. Uiagalelei : Clemson Tigers

Replacing a legend can be one of the most daunting tasks a collegiate athlete can face. D.J. Uiagalelei faces just that as he attempts to step into the role left behind by Trevor Lawrence. Travis Etienne has also departed to the NFL. It's Clemson, so the cupboard isn't bare. Similar to Bryce Young, we are sure that Uiagalelei will find a great deal of success in 2021, but it would be best to temper expectations when considering your DFS lineups.

Sam Howell : North Carolina Tar Heels

Sam Howell is one of the most NFL-ready quarterbacks heading into 2021. The primary issue is the surrounding faces that Howell will NOT see in the Tar Heel huddle--Javone Williams, Michael Carter, Dyami Brown, and Dazz Newsome are all gone off to the NFL. How will Sam Howell fare with a new cast of characters as his offensive skill players? I would recommend taking a wait-and-see approach regarding Sam Howell.

THE DEEP CUT

Malik Cunningham : Louisville Cardinal

Once upon a time, a Louisville Cardinal QB, Lamar Jackson, captivated our college football imagination as he dazzled us with his blend of electricity and elusiveness. Now, I am not saying that Malik Cunningham is Lamar Jackson. I am saying he is a reasonable facsimile and that Malik Cunningham can take a step forward and become a DFS darling.

Dorian Thompson : Robinson : UCLA Bruins

Playing under the tutelage of Chip Kelly can have its advantages for a quarterback, particularly in DFS. An intriguing player with outstanding athleticism, playing in the uptempo Kelly offense for an entire season, Thompson-Robinson is an intriguing proposition when stacking your DFS lineups.

Max Duggan : TCU Horned Frogs

Max Duggan continues to improve every season. Max Duggan won't wow you with his passing acumen. Showing his toughness, Duggan can contribute with his legs as well. With his rushing ability, Duggan can be a low-cost find for your DFS lineup.
