Trump's Candidates Dominate GOP Primaries
Trump-backed former Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein defeated 13-year incumbent Rep. Thomas Massie in Kentucky's GOP primary on Tuesday, in the most expensive House primary in U.S. history at over $32 million. The president and pro-Israel groups backed Gallrein heavily after Massie voted against Trump's tax law, opposed the Iran war, and helped force the release of the Epstein files. In Georgia, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger finished third in the GOP governor's primary. Trump-endorsed Lt. Gov. Burt Jones advanced to a runoff against billionaire Rick Jackson. Trump-backed candidates also won primaries in six states Tuesday, extending the president's influence over GOP races heading into the November midterms. See the list of the candidates. |
Google Overhauls Search for First Time in 25 Years
Google announced its biggest search engine overhaul in 25 years on Tuesday, replacing the familiar list of blue links with AI-powered answers and interactive tools. See what it will look like. The redesigned search box accepts longer, conversational questions and uses Google's Gemini AI to build custom visuals and mini-apps in response. Its AI-generated answer summaries already reach 2.5 billion monthly users. A new feature called "information agents" will work in the background around the clock, monitoring the web for users. Examples include tracking apartment listings or alerting fans when a favorite athlete announces a sneaker drop. The changes roll out this summer free of charge, though some features require a paid subscription. Publishers worry traffic to news sites will drop further. |
Heavy Rain Forecast For Memorial Day Travel
Heavy rain and thunderstorms are forecast from Texas to New England this Memorial Day weekend, threatening to drench what is expected to be the busiest holiday travel period ever recorded. AAA expects 45 million Americans to travel 50 miles or more between Thursday and Monday, about 200,000 more than last year. Major hubs like Dallas, Houston, and Atlanta could face delays. A cold front will also break the Northeast's near-record high 90s heat by Thursday, with highs tumbling into the 60s through the holiday weekend. Houston is expected to see 4 to 6 inches of rain through the holiday weekend, while the Rockies, Pacific Coast, and far Southeast should stay mostly dry.

The Largest Lithium Extraction Plant in the US It’s already producing lithium in Texas, part of a project that could earn roughly $1B in revenue yearly. And for a limited time, the company behind it, EnergyX, is letting early-stage investors tap into their growth. Why has EnergyX already earned backing from giants like General Motors and POSCO? Because where traditional methods like evaporation ponds only recover 30% of a resource’s lithium, EnergyX’s patented tech can recover up to 98%. Not only that, it does so 500X faster. With lithium demand growing 5X by 2040, this plant couldn’t be better timed. Especially since Morgan Stanely is forecasting an 80,000-ton shortage this year alone. Now, with rights to up to 13M tons of lithium across North and South America, EnergyX is ready to meet the moment. Join the movement as an early-stage EnergyX shareholder today. |

| Flying together with our sponsor Lithium Extraction Hasn’t Changed Since 1850 The way the world gets its lithium is embarrassing. They dig massive ponds in the desert. Pump brine into them. Then wait. For up to 18 months. While the sun slowly evaporates the water. In the end, just 30% of the lithium is recovered. So as demand projects to grow 5X by 2040, it’s no wonder Morgan Stanley is forecasting an 80,000-ton shortage this year. Enter EnergyX. Their patented tech recovers up to 98% of lithium at speeds 500X faster than evaporation ponds. Now, after bringing America’s largest lithium facility of its kind online in Texas, EnergyX is moving from technology company to commercial producer. General Motors invested. POSCO invested. Eni invested. The DOE awarded a $5M grant. Join the movement as an early-stage EnergyX shareholder today. |
