Goodyear and Peoria were named on MoneyLion's list of the 50 most affordable, fastest-growing U.S. cities, ranking No. 2 and No. 17, respectively.

The rankings evaluate cities based on population growth, income levels, and living costs, including the average household income left after home mortgages and rents are paid.

Goodyear posted 33.9% five-year population growth, with renters averaging $56,608 and homeowners $47,513 in leftover annual income. Peoria saw 17.1% growth over the same period, with renters left with $48,528 and homeowners with $38,726.

Frisco, Texas, ranked No. 1, while Vancouver, Washington, was last among the 50 cities.

Amazon-owned Zoox will begin testing its autonomous vehicles in Phoenix and Dallas as it expands robotaxi development beyond its current markets.

The company will start by mapping roads using a small fleet of retrofitted Toyota Highlander SUVs with human safety drivers behind the wheel.

Zoox said Phoenix's extreme heat, dust, and high-speed roadways make the area an ideal testing ground for sensors and battery performance.

Zoox also plans to open a Scottsdale fleet fusion center providing teleguidance, mission control, and rider support as the company prepares to compete with Waymo and Tesla in Phoenix.

Article Icon 1Sports Complex Use Grows

The Arizona Athletic Grounds sports complex in Mesa reported strong growth in its second full year under new ownership, welcoming more than 2.8 million visitors last year, a 16% increase from the year prior.

Formerly known as Legacy Park and Bell Bank Park, the complex continues to rebound from bankruptcy and a fraud case tied to its original owners.

Officials credited the growth to youth sports tournaments, expanded dining and retail, and partnerships with groups like MLS NEXT, the Professional Pickleball Association, and the American Cornhole League.
