Cincinnati-based Kroger tapped former Walmart executive Greg Foran as its chief executive officer, nearly a year after former CEO Rodney McMullen resigned.

Foran led Walmart’s U.S. division from 2014 to 2019, then took over as CEO of Air New Zealand. He’s the first outsider Kroger has chosen to run the company.

After Kroger announced Foran’s hiring on Monday, the company's shares rose 7% in early trading.

McMullen resigned following an internal investigation into personal conduct not involving business operations.

Article Icon 1Village Split Over Growth Push

Centerburg's move to join a regional planning commission has stirred debate over whether growth could change the identity of the Knox County village.

Village Administrator Richard Dzik said officials are weighing land purchases and preparing for possible housing development as interest in the village grows. Some residents cite concerns that expansion could bring higher taxes and rising crime rates.

Centerburg is currently home to about 1,700 residents, and officials estimate that the current sewer system could support roughly 850 more.

More information about the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission is available here.

Zoox autonomous taxis are being driven manually by trained safety drivers in testing on Columbus streets, but fully driverless service hasn't expanded to Ohio yet.

The Amazon subsidiary promotes its carriage-like robotaxi as "not a car," with no traditional driver's seat or steering wheel.

Last summer, Amazon opened a Zoox manufacturing plant in California, aiming to build up to 10,000 robotaxis a year.

Zoox launched testing of public rides in Las Vegas in September and plans to start operations in San Francisco, Austin, and Miami, according to its website.

Scammers don't guess—they look you up

Most scams don't start with malware—they start with public data. Addresses, phone numbers, and relatives are often obtained from data brokers and people search sites. That's why scam calls can sound calm, specific, and legitimate.

Incogni helps reduce this exposure by removing personal data from these sources and monitoring for re-listing. When less of your information is easy to find, impersonation gets much harder.
