Two weeks ago, I pretty much broke even, winning a few dollars as I went 3-3 on the PLL, losing on both OT losses for the Waterdogs. After a bye, this week the league heads to Minneapolis, let's win! https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8xQChJvVdE/…

Atlas vs. Whipsnakes (6/28 7:00)
The Atlas have been an absolute force this season. They're 4-0, coming off a 20-15 come from behind win against the Redwoods two weeks ago. New York has an astonishing offense, averaging 17.8 goals per game and they've allowed an average of 13 goals per game. The Whipsnakes have been struggling this season. They're coming off their first win of the season, beating the Waterdogs 15-14 in overtime last week after opening the season with two losses. They've averaged 12.3 goals per game, while allowing an average of 14.7. These teams just played in Week 1 a few weeks ago with the Atlas winning 17-13. I expect a similar result here with New York dominating once again. The moneyline is a little pricey at -200, but I'll lay it for a unit along with half a unit on the -2.5. I'd lean the over, but at 27 I think that's too high of a total to bet.
Cannons vs. Archers (6/28 9:30)
This is a pretty solid matchup tonight between these two 2-1 teams that match up pretty evenly. The Archers are coming off a 9-7 win two weeks ago against the Chaos, bouncing back from their meltdown loss to the Outlaws the week prior. The Cannons got a win in Philly as well, beating the Waterdogs 12-11. Statistically these teams are pretty close, with the Archers averaging 12.7 goals per game and the Cannons averaging 12.3. Defensively Utah's allowed an average of 12 goals per game and Boston's allowed an average of 13. Last season these teams met once in Week 1, with the Archers winning 16-13. I like them to win again here and I'll take them for half a unit. I'd lean the over, but not enough to bet it.
Redwoods vs. Outlaws (6/29 6:00)
This game to start Saturday's slate isn't great. The Redwoods, who started their game two weeks ago with a 5-1 lead went on to lose 20-15 to the Atlas and come into this week with an 0-2 record, searching for their first win. They've scored an average of 13 goals per game. The Outlaws are 1-1 and haven't played in a few weeks, with a bye in Philly. In Charlotte three weeks ago, they pulled off an incredible comeback, erasing a 14-7 deficit going into the fourth quarter against the Archers, coming back to win 18-17 in overtime on Brendan O'Neill's game winner in an incredible game to watch. Their offense has been solid, having averaged 14.5 goals per game. Both of these teams have been horrible defensively, with the Redwoods allowing 16 goals per game and the Outlaws allowing 16.5. Last season these teams met in Week 10, with the Redwoods beating the Chrome 11-10 in overtime. I'd slightly lean the Outlaws win this one, but no way I'm betting it. I do like the over though since neither of these teams can keep the ball out of their own net. I'll take it for a unit.
Waterdogs vs. Chaos (6/29 8:30)
Fun matchup to close out the weekend in Minny. The Waterdogs have had a disappointing start to the season coming into this weekend with an 0-3 record, all one goal losses. Their comeback fell short in Week 1 with a 12-11 loss to the Archers and then after a bye took two OT losses in their Homecoming Week in Philly, losing 12-11 to the Cannons and then 15-14 to the Whipsnakes. They've scored an average of 12 goals per game, while allowing an average of 13. The Chaos are 2-2, coming off a 9-7 loss to the Archers last week. I think they're a completely average team, having scored an average of 11.8 goals while allowing an average of 11.5. Philly won both games between these teams last year, winning 8-7 in Week 1 and then 13-8 in Week 10. I'd lean the Waterdogs get their first win of the season here, but definitely not enough to bet it. I'd also slightly lean the under, but not enough to bet that either, so I'll completely stay off this game.
