Miami's policy outlawing camping is right fucking on and so obvious. There is no alternative "more humane" policy. You kick the "homeless" off the street, take away their bullshit "lifestyle," and force them to clean up their act. Get mental health and/or drug treatment and give up your fucking "living outside" "freedom" BS.
That's humane. For everyone. And sane. And the ONLY right thing to do.
And SO fucking obvious. Stop giving the hobos a place to hang out and they'll stop hanging out on he street. They don't like it? Too fucking bad, they don't get an option.
Then there's Crappyfornia, where they welcome hobos and won't lift a finger to get them off the street, unless a Chinese dictator is coming to visit. Because Crappyfornians don't want to get the bums off the street, there's too much money to be made by keeping them there.
Crappyfornians are the lowest life forms on earth. They would have been right at home in Pol Pot's Cambodia, and probably would be volunteering to bash people's heads in. They're that fucking evil. And it's not a few, it's a LOT of people.
The politicians, the developers, the government employee unions, the "homeless advocates," they all make billions off of people living and dying on the streets. You think any of them care about the people? They just want their gravy train. And, boy, is it a nice train! That "tiny house" scam is making startup nerds rich at taxpayer expense while not doing a damn thing.
Voters in Crappyfornia actually believe "Adam Ruins Everything" is a good idea for public policy. Of course they also believe their taxes are paying for sunshine, despite the fact that the "Sunshine State" and a lot of other states that get as much sunshine as Crappyfornia pay ZERO state tax.
ZE-RO.
I'm way past forgiving people for being stupid. The Germans stupidly elected the Nazis, nobody forgave them.
I hope the non-blue states look at Florida and see we can do better. We don't HAVE to suck, just because Crappyfornians and New Yorkers vote to suck ass.
More Florida, please! It would be great to have a government like Florida in places that don't have alligators and hurricanes. For diversity's sake.
