With mainly my props on the Sabres game going 0-3, last night I went 2-5 on the NHL slate, losing 2.41 units. Tonight we have a five game slate, let's finally get a profitable bounce back day! https://www.instagram.com/reel/C5UEclHvi7O/?utm_so…

Maple Leafs vs. Lightning (7:00)
Really solid playoff team matchup in the Atlantic Division to get the night started. The Leafs are third in the division, coming into tonight's game on a three game win streak after a big 6-4 win at home against the Panthers on Monday night. The Lightning had their three game win streak and nine game point streak come to an end on Monday night, with a 4-2 loss at home to the Red Wings. Toronto won both previous games between these teams, both in overtime, on the road 4-3 on the road in October and then 6-5 at home in November. I'd lean the Lightning get the win in this one on the road and like the over as well, but I think the best play on this game is not touching it. Should be a great game.
Rangers vs. Devils (7:00)
Not the best Battle of the Hudson in this Metro Division game tonight as the Rangers look to complete their season sweep of their nearby rivals. The Rags are 3-0 against the Devils this year, winning 5-3 on the road in November, 5-1 on the road in February, and then 3-1 at home last month. Both of these teams are coming off losses to the Penguins in their last game. The Rangers ending a five game win streak on Monday with their 5-2 loss at home but they've played great, coming into tonight as the President's Trophy leaders and that was just their sixth loss in their last 27 games. The Devils have lost their last two games after a 6-3 loss last night in Pittsburgh and they've sucked this season. I love the Rangers to complete the season sweep here at home tonight and I'll take them in regulation for half a unit. I'd lean the over but not enough to bet it.
Stars vs. Oilers (9:30)
This should be an awesome game tonight between two of the Western Conference Stanley Cup contenders. They're both playing great hockey right now. The Stars, who are on a seven game win streak with eleven wins in their last 13 games coming off a 3-0 shutout win in Seattle on Saturday, lead the Western Conference. The Oilers are playing well too. They're coming off a 3-2 overtime loss in St. Louis on Saturday that ended their three game win streak, as they're in second place in the Pacific Division with a three point lead over the Golden Knights. These teams split their first two games, both 4-3 wins on the road, with the Stars getting it done in regulation in November and the Oilers answering back in OT in February. I'd lean Dallas wins this one at home but not enough to bet it in a pretty much coin flip game. I'd lean the over, but both of these teams have trended under, so I'll just stay off this game entirely.
Kings vs. Kraken (9:30)
Kind of a lousy Pacific Division matchup in this game. The Kings hold onto the second Wild Card spot in the Western Conference with a three point lead over the Blues. They come into tonight's game on a three game losing streak after a 4-3 loss in Winnipeg on Monday night. Statistically they've been good on both ends of the ice, especially defensively. The Kraken have had a lousy season, but after an eight game losing streak, they've since won three of their last four games (against the Ducks and Sharks, who along with the Blackhawks are the worst teams in the NHL). The first two games between these teams were close, with the Kings winning the first 3-2 in a shootout in Seattle in December and the Kraken answering back with a 2-1 win in LA four days later. The Kings are the better team here and I like them to win this one at home. I'll take them for half a unit along with the under for half a unit, which I like a lot here even at -120 at 5.5.
Coyotes vs. Canucks (10:00)
Not the best Western Conference game to finish off the night. The Coyotes have had a lousy season, but have played much better as of late with five wins in their last eight games. After ending Nashville's 18 game point streak with an 8-4 win at home, they followed it up with an 8-5 loss to the Rangers on Saturday. The Canucks still lead the Pacific with a five point lead over the Oilers, but they're not playing great lately. They're in the second half of a back to back tonight, coming off a 6-3 loss in Vegas they have just one win in their last four games. Vancouver won the first game between these teams 2-1 at home in January. I like the Canucks to bounce back from last night's loss with a win on the road here and I'll take them for half a unit. I'd lean the over, but not enough to bet it.
