I have a strong take. Injuries absolutely suck. It sucks what's going on with OG Anunoby. Just as the Knicks were getting on a role, OG reaggravates his elbow injury and now has no timetable to return. I don't know who's at fault here. A lot of blame is going toward the training staff, but he was cleared to play. He probably should not have played the game against the Kings, but if he says he's fine, he's fine. The Knicks will be without their best perimeter defender for god knows how long, but I am still confident in this team.
Jalen Brunson continues to show why he is one of the best point guards in the NBA. It's a very short list of players ahead of him, but Brunson has been balling these past couple of games. In his last four games, Brunson is averaging 36.8 PPG on 50%, 5.5 APG, and 1.5 SPG. It's been magical to watch Brunson dominate all who are put out before him. Brunson has a solid chance to be 2nd team All-NBA. I doubt he'll get first team over SGA, but even Big Perk, whose opinion I've always respected, has given Brunson a lot of love. Honestly, in every postgame, it's a new player, coach, or media member giving Brunson his credit. It's starting to become a new porn fetish for me. I can't stop watching people praise Brunson.
Another player who deserves credit is Deuce McBride. I think I do this every few weeks, but Deuce deserves more love again. That game he had against the Warriors was amazing to watch. Never in my life did I expect Deuce McBride and Jalen Brunson to score over 29 points in the same game, but Deuce was on fire Monday night. 29 points while shooting 6/9 from three was fantastic. Deuce deserves all the love because he dug himself out of a really tight hole. Trying to earn minutes in Thibs' lineup is harder than escaping Alcatraz. He stepped up after the RJ/Quickley trade and has earned every minute given to him.

Now, let's see what the Knicks have up next for the coming week.
Once again, New York has another game on a Saturday, but this time, it's a 1:00 start at MSG as the Knicks take on the Nets. The Nets have been abysmal the last few weeks. They have lost their previous five games, and in March, they are 3-8. This should be an easy game for the Knicks as they return home from their west coast trip. After that, the Knicks stay in New York to take on the Pistons Monday night. There's not much to say about Detroit, who are tied for the worst record in the NBA with Washington. It should be another walk in the park. The Knicks will then head to Toronto to take on the Raptors. I hope we are able to see RJ after the tragic news that hit him and his family this past week. Such a shitty situation and I hope the team can give him their condolences. The Knicks finish their week in San Antonio on Friday night to play the third-worst team in the NBA. New York won't have Mitch to talk shit on Wemby, but it's another easy game for them. The Knicks should go 4-0 this week. They are playing teams with less than 27 wins this season.
Let's go Knicks!
