The Miss Universe winners from Venezuela are Maritza Sayalero, Irene Saez, Barbara Palacios, Alicia Machado, Dayana Mendoza, Stefania Fernandez and Gabriela Isler. The winners from the U.S. are Miriam Stevenson, Carol Morris, Linda Bement, Sylvia Hitchcock, Shawn Weatherly, Chelsi Smith, Brook Lee and Olivia Culpo.
Ieda Maria Vargas and Martha Vasconcellos of Brazil won Miss Universe in 1963 and 1968, respectively. Luz Marina Zuluaga and Paulina Vega of Colombia won in 1958 and 2014.
