Liberia are one of the 'homeless' African teams among the 40 jostling for group leadership to qualify for the last qualifying stage of Qatar 2022.

The others include Central African Republic, Guinea, Sierra Leone and Guinea Bissau.

The poor state of stadium facilities is partly responsible for the denial of their home ground.

The exception is probably Guinea which political situation could not guarantee safety of visiting teams and hence opted to play home games in Morocco.

Thus, Morocco will be on record as the nation with most hosting of Qatar 2022 qualifying matches.

Liberia which played against Cape Verde in Accra last month also joined those taking their home games to Morocco.

Speaking on local station, Spoon Network on Monday, Liberia FA President Mustapha Raji said Morocco was selected as an alternative home venue because of the minimum cost attached and the cordial relationship between the LFA and FRMF (Royal Morocco Football Federation).
