PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Down 14-3 at the half, the Chicago Bears came out with a whole new attitude looking to come back and take down the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, penalties held them back in the end as the Steelers would come out on top on a Chris Boswell game-winning field goal, 29-26.

Big Ben

The unsung hero of tonight's game has to be Steelers' veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. He showed glimpses of his younger self by taking big hits to get back up and chuck the ball downfield.

Big Ben threw for 205 yards and two touchdowns on the night. His biggest pass came on the game's final drive, where he completed a 22-yard pass to Diontae Johnson to get his team within field goal range.

Justin Fields

After taking an absolute beating in the first half, Bears' quarterback Justin Fields did all he could with his arm and legs to spark a comeback in the second half.

It all started with their first drive with a 50-yard catch from wide receiver Marquise Goodwin. However, this drive would end in a field goal. Still, it was a great start to the half.

Later in the game, the Steelers went up 26-20. Fields responded, driving the Bears offense downfield and capping the drive 16-yard touchdown pass to Darnell Mooney for the lead.

Fields finished with 291 yards and one touchdown while completing 58% of his passes.

Penalties

With so much going right for the Bears in this game, there was also so much bad. The biggest issue was the number of penalties as they had 12 penalties called on the them on Monday night.

The biggest penalties came in the final minutes of the game. Late in the fourth quarter with the Bears down 23-20, linebacker Cassius Marsh sacked Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and, after the play, was called for a taunting penalty. Marsh's sack ended the Steelers' drive and would have forced them to punt. However, it gave Pittsburgh a new set of downs. The drive would end in a Chris Boswell field goal giving the Steelers a 26-20 lead

Then, on the Steelers' final drive of the game, the Bears were called on two offsides penalties, moving the ball up for the Steelers. The drive would end in a Boswell game-winning field goal.

The Bears would end the game with 12 penalties for 115 yards.
