Cincinnati -23.5 at South Florida (O/U 58)
The Bearcats have struggled to separate themselves in the last few games. Cincinnati keeps winning, but they have not looked impressive. Some style points are needed down the stretch to make a compelling case for college football's final four.
Picks: Cincinnati 38 South Florida 13
Georgia State at Coastal Carolina -10.5 (O/U 52)
The Chanticleers are a three-point loss to Appalachian State away from making a run at an undefeated season. Coastal Carolina has been consistent all season long, and I don't see Georgia State keeping up with them for four quarters.
Picks: Coastal Carolina 34 Georgia State 17
Connecticut at Clemson -41 (O/U 51)
With the season that the Clemson Tigers are having--, they should not be favored by 41-points against any team in college football. Clemson will win by a large margin, which is not in question. I'll take the 41 points and take the Huskies to cover.
Picks: Clemson 38 Connecticut 7
Minnesota at Iowa -5 (O/U 37)
Back-to-back losses against Purdue and Wisconsin had the Hawkeyes season free-falling. I am banking that Iowa has had time to settle things down and is in a spot to defeat the Golden Gophers here at home.
Picks: Iowa 23 Minnesota 17
Michigan -1.5 at Penn State (O/U 48.5)
I cannot wait for this one. The Wolverines/Nittany Lions should be quite the contest. In Happy Valley, the Penn State faithful will be going bonkers, but I will stick with Michigan in this spot. With a date against the Buckeyes lurking, the Wolverines still have a shot at a Big Ten title and a shot at college football's final four.
Picks: Michigan 24 Penn State 20
Maryland at Michigan State -13 (O/U 61)
I don't like the way Maryland has played in the second half of the season. Purdue stunned the Spartans in their last outing, and I would expect a bounce-back performance from Kenneth Walker IV and Michigan State.
Picks: Michigan State 34 Maryland 20
North Carolina State at Wake Forest -2 (O/U 66.5)
Last week Wake Forest dropped 55 points, and lost! North Carolina State has played better and better as the season has gone along--the Wolfpack will pose a challenge. I believe Sam Hartman and the Demon Deacons have too much firepower for NC State to keep up with, and Wake Forest pulls away late.
Picks: Wake Forest 38 NC State 30
Oklahoma -5.5 at Baylor (O/U 62)
Despite being unbeaten, the Oklahoma Sooners are struggling for respect. A date with the Baylor Bears on Saturday could help provide some legitimacy. Caleb Williams is now firmly at the helm at the quarterback position and has galvanized the Sooners season. I will take the Sooners to cover on the road in this spot.
Picks: Oklahoma 37 Baylor 31
Notre Dame -5.5 at Virginia (O/U 64.5)
Virginia brings as much offensive firepower as any team that Notre Dame has faced this season. The Cavaliers are going to give the Fighting Irish all they can handle. I will still take Notre Dame as they have answered all the doubters just about every week this season.
Picks: Notre Dame 38 Virginia 31
Washington State at Oregon -13.5 (O/U 57.5)
Oregon has received their national respect, and if they win their remaining regular-season games, they will be in the final four. Oregon won't slip up against Washington State at home. Keep rolling with the Ducks.
Picks: Oregon 34 Washington State 17
USC -1.5 at California (O/U 53)
USC never lived up to the preseason hype during a tumultuous 2021 season. The Trojans have too much talent to lose to the Golden Bears in this one. Take USC.
Picks: USC 31 California 27
Texas A&M -2.5 at Ole Miss (O/U 57)
Can Matt Corral hold up against a tough Texas A&M defense? The Ole Miss defense has been awful this year. Corral will have to play spotless football to pull off the upset. The Aggies are the more complete team and will get the 'W' in this one.
Picks: Texas A&M 37 Ole Miss 30
Georgia -20 at Tennessee (O/U 55.5)
Tennessee has some juice on offense. The Volunteers will challenge the Bulldogs. Georgia has been dominant all season long, and I don't see Tennessee being able to muster too much against one of the most dominant defenses that we have seen in quite some time.
Picks: Georgia 38 Tennessee 16
Purdue at Ohio State -21 (O/U 62.5)
Purdue has pulled off not one but two of the biggest upsets in the college football season. The Buckeyes are the biggest challenge yet for the Boilermakers. I'm going to take Purdue here to keep it closer than Ohio State fans would like.
Picks: Ohio State 34 Purdue 24
Miami (FL) -2.5 at Florida State (O/U 60.5)
Growing up a college football fan Florida State/Miami game was always one of the season's highlights. Now this game is a shell of its former self. The Seminoles have been atrocious all season long, but the Hurricanes have made at least some progress as of late. I'll take Miami to bring home the victory.
Picks: Miami (FL) 30 Florida State 24
Arkansas -2.5 at LSU (O/U 59)
The Razorbacks are riding high following their 31-28 upset victory over Mississippi State. Facing LSU in Death Valley, a 'let down' game is coming. I will take the Tigers to win outright at home.
Picks: LSU 31 Arkansas 27
