WWE Monday Night Raw came aired live from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, KY on Monday, November 8. Last week on Raw, Big E faced off against Kevin Owens in the main event. Despite interference from Seth Rollins on Owens's behalf, Big E still managed to secure the win. Owens was unhappy with Rollins's interference. As a result, KO and Rollins were set to face off against one another on Monday. With Rollins being the number one contender to his crown, Big E would assuredly have a vested interest in the main event. Here's how the action went down.

Seth Rollins Addresses the WWE Universe

The show kicked off with a backstage shot of Kevin Owens continuing to apologize to Big for what happened last Monday. The WWE Champion would have none of it and told Owens he did not care. In the arena, Seth Rollins made his way to the ring. In the ring, Rollins explained that for as long as he has known Owens, he has always been a snake.

Rollins continued to bring up past events in an attempt to call Owens character into question. As a result, Owens stormed his way to the ring. KO unleashed a fury on Rollins that only stopped because Seth managed to slither away and escape.

RK-Bro & The Street Profits vs. AJ Styles, Omos, Roode, Ziggler

Prior to the match, Orton made it clear to both his partner and the Street Profits that he wanted nothing to do with their issues with Omos. Early on in the match, Roode and Ziggler did an excellent job of isolating Riddle from his corner. Eventually, Riddle found an opening and made the tag to Orton. Orton exploded into the match and cleaned house as the show headed for the commercial break.

When the action resumed, Omos used his power advantage to regain control for his team. Montez was isolated from his corner for some time. Ford battled back and gained enough momentum to make the tag to Dawkins. Before long, Omos again regained control for his team. AJ and Omos began to fight with their partners in the ring. In the end, Ziggler snuck in and pinned a downed Riddle to steal the win. For his efforts, Randy Orton nailed him with an RKO.

Dominik Mysterio vs. Bobby Lashley

WWE official Adam Pearce called the Mysterios out to the ring to make an announcement. Pearce explained that he was not happy with his initial choices for Team Raw at Survivor Series. The WWE official stated that everyone on Team Raw was a former WWE Champion except for Dominik Mysterio. Despite Mysterio not being a former champion, Pearce agreed to allow him to stay on the team. That is, as long as he could defeat Bobby Lashley.

Dominik had some moments in this match, but they were few and far between. This was a one-sided beatdown by Bobby Lashley. The Almighty punished the young Mysterio throughout the matchup until finally finishing him off with the Hurt Lock. As a result, Lashley took Mysterios' spot on Team Raw.

Big E vs. Chad Gable

Last week backstage on Raw, Big E had an encounter with the Alpha Academy. As a result, the WWE Champion would go one on one with Chad Gable this week. Gable saw some early success against Big E. He attempted to use his technically proficient offense to wear down the champion.

Before long, Big E battled back into the matchup. He utilized his size and strength advantage to storm back into the match. Moments later, he nailed Gable with the Big Ending for the pinfall victory.

Raw Women's Championship Number One Contender

Fatal Five Way Match

Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Carmella vs. Bianca Belair vs. Queen Zelina

WWE officials Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville announced that the members of Team Raw would face each other for a shot at the Women's Championship. Early on in the match, Carmella and Zelina formed an alliance. As expected, this did not last long and the two attacked one another.

This was a good match with a lot of action. Each of the women had their moments and looked to be close to winning. Carmella capitalized after a superkick to Ripley that saw each woman go down. She attempted to pin each of her opponents but was unable to secure a victory. Rhea Ripley nailed Bianca Belair with a Riptide for a close near fall.

Bianca Belair looked to be on the cusp of victory after she landed the KOD. However, Doudrop pulled her out of the ring and proceeded to lay her out at ringside. As a result, Carmella attempted to take advantage of this moment, but Liv Morgan broke up the pin. Morgan followed up with a rollup on Carmella for the pinfall victory.

Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens

Prior to the match, Big E made his way to ringside as an important observer for the main event. Rollins entered first and again addressed the WWE Universe. The Visionary explained that him and Owens were working together last week. Owens did not like this and flew down to the ring to attack Rollins.

The two former world champions put on an incredible main event. They battled it out right in front of the WWE Champion Big E. This was definitely a match that any wrestling fan would be entertained by. Both men were completely exhausted, and they battled to the outside. The two men came together and crashed over the announce table near Big E. Rollins managed to get back to the ring, but Owens could not do so in time. As a result, Rollins won the match via count-out.

After the match, Kevin Owen turned his attention to the WWE Champion. KO proceeded to viciously attack Big E. WWE officials made their way to ringside to reason with Owens, but he could not be stopped. The show ended with Big E down and Owens absolutely incensed.
