After another fun Dynamite, and an action packed Rampage, we have no time to relax as AEW have another huge episode coming up. Tony Khan has once again stacked a huge card for free tv that includes, a massive 8-man tag match which will see Kenny Omega and Adam Cole team for the first time in a AEW ring! We also have Hikaru Shida going for her 50th career AEW win, Sammy Guevara already has his first challenger for his newly won TNT Title, and the Casino Ladder Match to determine a new #1 Contender.

All this and so much more, and here is where we'll break it all down.

PAC vs Andrade El Idolo vs Jon Moxley vs Lance Archer vs Orange Cassidy vs Matt Hardy vs Joker - Casino Ladder Match

This match is kind of coming out of nowhere, but there can't be anyone who isn't excited for this ladder match. When you really break down of who is in this match, it's hard to believe that this isn't on a PPV. Some of the biggest names in the company are in mix to become #1 contender, but I also like how AEW have incorporated three separate feuds at once. PAC and Andrade have been at odds for months, Jon Moxley and Lance Archer are just coming off a brutal Lights Out match, and Matt Hardy has been obsessed with Orange Cassidy for the last few weeks. The fact that this is a #1 contender's match makes all three of these feuds feel more important now, and I think really elevates the status of all six wrestlers.

The other thing we can't forget about, is the seventh spot saved for the Joker. AEW just knows how to hype up a show, and take things to the next level. If this was announced as a 6-man match, with these six wrestlers, for most that would've been enough…but not for AEW. They have to add the extra excitement with who could the joker be. If I had to choose, I think the joker will be one of two people, who both have been jokers before. I think that the joker will either be Lio Rush, or a returning Hangman Page, who won the Casino Battle Royale as the joker a few years ago.

If the Joker is indeed Hangman, I expect him to be the one to win. If it's not, I'm hoping to see Andrade get the shock win. In any case, I think this match will deliver on all aspects.

Sammy Guevara (C) vs Bobby Fish - TNT Championship Match

When Sammy Guevara won the TNT Title from Miro, I have to admit, I was shocked. Miro had be so dominant up until last Wednesday, but Sammy was the better man on the night, and I'm excited to see how Guevara's title run goes. With Sammy and the Inner Circle being tangled up with the Pinnacle for the past year, there are tons of matchups that would be intriguing for the new champ. With all the available wrestlers on AEW roster, Sammy's first challenger is one stepping in through the forbidden door.

Bobby Fish will be the first one to take a shot at the new TNT champ, and it really comes out of the blue. Fish is a veteran of the business and has been successful everywhere he has gone. The mass majority of that success came with his tag team partner Kyle O'reilly, and being members of the Undisputed Era. It'll be interesting to see how Fish does as a single's competitor, and we'll have to see if AEW have Fish interact with Adam Cole, who was also involved with the UE.

I think that it's a safe bet to pick Sammy in his first title defence, but AEW does often try to fool its audience, so you never know. But like MJF mentioned on last week's episode, Sammy is one of the pillars of AEW, and I'm hoping for a long run for Sammy that culminates in a potential rivalry with Chris Jericho.

Kenny Omega, Adam Cole & The Young Bucks vs Bryan Danielson, Christian Cage & Jurassic Express - 8-Man Tag

On paper, this is a match that just one year ago didn't seem possible. Fast forward  to October 2021, and here we are. This is an all-star tag match with some of the greatest wrestlers in the business today sharing the ring. Bryan Danielson is coming off his classic 30-minute draw with AEW champion Kenny Omega, and getting his first win over Nick Jackson in an entertaining bout on Rampage. After that match on Rampage, a mini brawl took place that ended with both Adam Cole and Kenny Omega tapping out in the middle of the ring. The team of Danielson, Christian Cage, and Jurassic Express definitely have the upper hand going into this match.

This will be the first time we see the team of Kenny Omega, Adam Cole, and the Young Bucks, and I couldn't be more excited. These four guys are amazing professional wrestlers, and the fact that they've been reunited is amazing. The thing that might be in favour of the Elite here, is that they still have the numbers game. Frankie Kazarian might be there to help out the faces, but the Elite can look to the Good Brothers, Brandon Cutler, and Nakazawa. It'll be really interesting to see who wins this one, because we know that AEW love their undefeated wrestlers, but either Adam Cole or Bryan Danielson will register their first loss. If I had to make a guess, I'd go with the Elite.

Another match that we have announced for tonight show is a big match in the women's division, that has Hikaru Shida going one-on-one with Serena Deeb.

All this and so much more can be seen on TNT (TSN in Canada) every Wednesday night at 8PM EST.
