Today, Notre Dame Football released their Shamrock Series uniforms for their September 25 game against Wisconsin in Chicago.

I have always been a fan of the Shamrock Series uniforms... when they were green.  Green like a shamrock, hence the Shamrock Series.  Anyway.  These uniforms are okay.  Wisconsin hasn't released theirs but I can only imagine that they will be all white with a red trim to offset the ND blue and gold.  Notre Dame should always been forced to wear green in the Shamrock Series.  Last time they wore the green was in 2015 against Boston College.  But their most memorable was in 2010 against Army.

I just have trouble getting excited if it is not green and this years don't do anything for me... They are essentially the home blues and the Shamrock Series deserves much better.
