For the first time in two years, we're back to the beach for Bachelor in Paradise! The best show in the Bachelor Nation "universe" comes back with twenty three bachelors and bachelorettes looking for love, drama and insanity. Let the journey begin!

The contestants starting off on the beach this season, we have: 

  • Tre, Karl, Connor B., Aaron and James from Katie's season of The Bachelorette
  • Tammy, Kelsey, Natasha, Tammy, Deandra, Maurissa and Victoria Paul from Peter's season of The Bachelor
  • Serena P., "Queen" Victoria, Mari, Jessenia and Abigail from Matt's season of The Bachelor
  • Brendan, Ivan, Kenny and Noah from Tayshia and Clare's season of The Bachelorette
  • Joe from Becca's season and Bachelor in Paradise season 5
  • Tahzjuan who was previously on Colton's season and the last season of Paradise

The guys have the roses for Week 1 and three girls will be going home this week before the girls get the roses next week.

Abigail is the first one to get a date card in Paradise and she selects Noah to go with on the date, after they had connected a bit earlier in the day when they arrived. She doesn't start the date off great telling Noah that she friend zones guys real quickly and easily. No guy wants to hear that shit. Abigail's very guarded and quiet on their date but Noah does a pretty good job of having her open up a bit to her. After dinner, they smash some pinatas and he gives her a kiss to make sure he stays out of the friend zone.

Meanwhile back on the beach, Connor and Maurissa kick it off with the first kiss on Paradise after during Katie's season of The Bachelorette, Katie didn't have any spark with Connor when they kissed. So he had to get that insecurity out of the way.

Tre and Tahzjuan also have a pretty quick connection, despite that she apparently went on a date with his uncle before Paradise. That's fucking weird. 

Joe, who met his ex Kendall in season 5 of Paradise a few years ago struggles early to even make any connection with anyone on the beach. Serena P. kind of gets him to open up to her a bit and then they start making out. 

Along with those couples, like everyone else has already coupled up and made out. 

The first late arrival to the beach on Day 2, is Demi. Demi's the biggest fucking star of Bachelor Nation history in my book. After being entertaining as fuck on Colton's season of The Bachelor, she came into Paradise season 6 and revealed that she was bisexual and pursued a relationship with another girl that she had been dating prior to Paradise. But that's clearly over and drama is about to come.
