Today, The AP released their first Top 25 of the College Football Season.

Defending champs, Alabama, led the way at Number 1 and they are followed by Oklahoma, Clemson, Ohio State, and Georgia.  I honestly don't see any surprises there.  I think those are the 5 best programs to start the season but who knows how it will play out this season.

My initial reaction to this is that Texas A&M is too high.  Like way too high.  They lost Kellen Mond to the draft and I'm not sure they are returning too much either.  But they are ranked 8th in the country for recruiting this year.  Aside from them, I think every other team is properly ranked.  I think Cincinnati will be solid, ND will be ok, Iowa State will challenge Oklahoma, and The U should be back for now.

My big hot take this year is that Clemson will be bad.  I am not sold on this DJ guy at quarterback.  I don't care if he was a 5 star QB.  Trying to fill the shoes of Trevor Lawrence is going to be near impossible.  So I think either UNC, BC, Virginia, Miami, or Virginia Tech will have a legit chance to win the ACC.

But other than that, I think Alabama, Oklahoma, and OSU will win their conferences.  I think Oregon will also take the Pac-12 and that just leaves the ACC up for grabs!
