I am a bit late to the party, but after thinking about what I should write today.
The thing that went through my head was, "Hold on a second, wasn't there something like a Steam Deck?"
The reason I didn't write something earlier about The Steam Deck was actually because this was just another Nintendo Switch, but is it?

Having Steam on something like a handheld could be something that people want that can't or won't buy a PC.
As of now, three different versions are announced, and the prices here are in Dollars.
And they differ in the amount of storage you have and how fast it will store your games.
The prices are 399$, 529$ and 649$ and this last one has an Anti Glare Screen on it and also a fancy carrying case.
If you run out of storage, you always purchase a Micro SD card to expand.

Some build in features that the Steam Deck will have are a build in Microphone.
A slot that you use to plug in your Headset, an C Port entrance and of course a slot to insert your Micro SD into.

You can fully customize it and even choose what operating system it uses, but some games will not run on Linux for example.
And even install games that are outside of Steam.
It can connect to any Blu-Tooth related Controller like your PlayStation or X-Box controller.
The large square trackpads on the device function as an alternative to the mouse.

When The Steam Deck is fully charged, it should last up to 7 or 8 hours.
But the games that are really demanding can reduce this to 2 hours only, according to Valve.
Maybe a slot for an extra battery or something might be a good idea then?

A dock is also coming in the future, so you can connect it to a bigger screen if you want that.
Also, another important thing is that you can use your Mouse and Keyboard with this.
Don't know if you will be able to do that without the dock.

You can pre-order one right now, but they will be not be available until 2022.
With the cheapest being released first and the more expensive one being pushed back until Q3 of 2022.
So, what do you think about it? Are you going to get one?
