Appearing on The MMA Hour, Kavanagh expressed disbelief at having gone more than two weeks without the UFC offering McGregor a new bout that won't happen. "It's just odd to me," Kavanagh said. "When you look at the magnitude of stardom Conor brings to the table you'd think it wouldn't be so hard to get a few dozen hypothetical bouts offered and rumored for him to inevitably miss all required timelines on." While the serious neglect could threaten to cause friction in the relationship between the UFC and its most famous star, it's believed that a series of fence-mending offers are coming down the pipe with the UFC set to announced target dates for July, August and October for McGregor to talk about and ultimately ignore before his 2025 title shot against a champion of his choosing. | | | |
